Making radio ‘Real’

Real Radio presenters Jagger & Woody recently spoke to students at the Atrium in Cardiff. Third year Journalism student Niamh Hannon guest wrote this blog:

These huge personalities tell the students how to get a foot in the door at Real Radio, where they present the breakfast show every morning – or at any radio station .

They give tips on what to do to make a lasting impression, what to put on your demo CD and believe that it’s all about persistence and passion.

The theatre that the talk was held in was full to the brim in comparison to all other guest lectures. The popular presenters enjoyed their time speaking and giving back to their listeners.
